  • I love Ikea, cause...Ikea. Your best bet is to get there early, park near the exit (not the entrance) and remember to bring bags to carry your stuff out. Also check out the As Is section, sometimes you can grab something awesome (little frame for $1.00, pre-put together furniture that may be a little damaged, etc.). This place can get seriously packed though (like most Ikea's), and if you've never been before, bring your walking shoes and your pedometer, it's not a small place. And of course, the cafeteria is tasty, though of course not gourmet. I recently converted from the swedish to the chicken meatballs, never going back. Not everything at Ikea is for everyone, so if you're not sure what you're getting into, go look at their website before you go in a store.
