| - Not what I expected. I expected to get good food at bargain prices. Boy was I wrong. I should have known I was in trouble when I saw more ATM machines at the festival than food trucks. Can you blame me? It was food served from a TRUCK! After paying for my entrance fee of $20 for two, a Frach's fried ice cream $14, a lobster roll $17, a shrimp po boy $15, and a couple of drinks $$$. I found myself needing to reload at one of those ATM machines. The usage fee was $4.50! Once again, not what I was expecting! No problem. The glass is half full, right? We found a place to sit and enjoy the nice weather and the good food when, all of a sudden, a focken hail storm decides to drop on us! Did I mention that this was not what I expected? Seriously? The food, though significantly over priced, was delicious. The Frach's fried ice cream was absolutely amazing. The lobster roll from Cousins was good, but tiny considering it cost $17. Despite all of that, I will be back for some Filipino style pork belly, sushi burrito and a few other things that I didn't get a chance to try. BTW, there were carnival rides and live bands too.
