| - I've driven past Battista's a million times. I am a frequent patron at Stage Door, but have never gone to Battista's until my bachelorette party on Wednesday night.
We had a reservation, and they do not seat until your entire party has arrived...which is pretty standard practice.
We really enjoyed ourselves. Service was fast and polite.
I ordered the Veal Marsala, which comes with (as all entrees do): unlimited red or white house wine, a side of pasta, garlic bread, soup or salad, and a cappucino.
The veal was to die for. Tender, light, flavorful. The minestrone soup was great too, and the garlic bread...well...thankfully someone moved it away from me, or I would have eaten the whole basket.
I stole a bite of tortellini from a friend, along with a bite of shrimp scampi, and manacoti (what, it was my night, I can eat all the things if I want to!!) and all of them were great. The shrimp was absolutely perfect.
For the price point, I thought that everything was very good. I'll definitely be back again.
