I've past this place several times and finally decided to venture in after having sampled some French macarons from there recently. They were ok. I'd recommend the hazelnut one - has the right amt of sweetness, nuttiness and chew. I found the raspberry too sweet.
What I really want to write about is the almond croissant. Was possibly the croissant of my life (and I've sampled several). Flaky and crunchy, with the right amount of filling and covered in slivered almonds and icing sugar. Delicious and possibly worth the pricey $3 once in a while...
As for the service, there is much to be desired. The staff was very unfriendly! You'd think they would be more welcoming being surrounded by the smell of fresh baked goods all day...
