  • The Sewcial Lounge is one of the hidden gems of Madison. I've wanted to learn to sew for some time, and signed up for their Sewing Fundamentals class. The class is very reasonably priced for 3 hours of instruction, and the teacher was amazing! We learned to make a throw pillow in the class, and I'm looking forward to taking more. Plus, if you don't own a sewing machine, you can come by the shop to use one of theirs for a few dollars an hour. They have a great selection of fabric at great prices (much better quality and much better pricing than the big box stores) and the staff here is actually friendly and knowledgable!
