DO NOT GO TO CRYSTAL BLAKE. If I could give no stars I would. I wish I would have checked Yelp again before I decided to come here to break out of my comfort zone and go silver. Crystal was the one who attempted it. By the way when she gives you a range of cost she will always charge you the higher one once you're already stuck in the seat with no where to run. She's all talk with crazy high confidence so I believed in her. She should have sent me away or told me she didn't know how to do it, it's MY HAIR, I wear it everyday I didn't want to have to pay what I did between the two visits to end up being screwed by who I thought was a decent person. The first visit was a cut and color to take me from brown to blonde to silver. Turns out I only went from brown to yellow/gold blonde to blonde silver. Not the silver I was looking for but it was manageable. I left thinking okay.... Maybe this will grow on me not being completely happy and tried to hype myself up into liking it. Little did I know I had to go back in less than 2 weeks to have her try again for cost of course. I hate confrontation so I said to crystal "I'd like to go more silver." However this time I ended up BLUE with GREEN roots. And I had family pictures coming up back in Texas and she didn't have a time to fix it before I left besides my packing day for my trip. I had to go find someone else to do it from a different establishment. This new lady I had fix my hair was my saving grace. Come to find out she is crystals old manager who let her go and thankfully has a lot more intelligence in hair coloring and cutting. She informed me that the hair cut Crystal gave me was uneven and lacked execution. My bangs always go to the left crystal cut them to go to the right then styled them to the left with the rest of my hair by curling it so I couldn't see she messed up once she saw which way they go ( a little too late ). I invested my hard earned money $190 the first time and $135 the second time. Then had to spend $250 for the color fix and cut and the last second expenses which was money well spent in my eyes since she listened and executed it perfectly. When I asked her for a full refund I was only allotted $135. She refused to even just give me partial from the first visit for the jacked hair cut she did on me. Which for someone who has "25 years experience" that's pathetic to not even cut hair properly and take advantage of clients who aren't trained in cosmology to know the difference besides the jacked bangs I had I can't see the back of my head being uneven. I could not get ahold of the owners no matter how many times I called. And the "contact us" email is incorrect on the face book page. So I tried to have my mother call since apparently I (the client) didn't matter. And when she called Crystal to reason with her on the matter CRYSTAL BLAKE HUNG UP ON MY MOTHER. How offended I was she is so unprofessional and disrespectful. Once she gets her money then she shuts you out. It's so sad that when my mom called crystal knew legally exactly what to say ( hint hint she's had many customer complaints before by the sound of it ) and I even saw a review (after this mess) that she made a lady go bald!! NEVER GO HERE if the stylist messes you up there is no recourse or management system to deal with customer service issues. Any time you call you'll just get bumped around or never answered.
