  • I don't know how many dentists I have been to in the over 50 years I have had to use them, and some have been better than others, but without doubt and by a wide margin, Dr. Kubieniec is the best. She took over the practice of my previous dentist, who was an instructor at the College of Dentistry, and as he was retiring identified her as a promising student. A couple years after she took over his practice, a dentist down the hall was so impressed with her performance that he invited her to take over his practice as well when he retired. I don't know how she does it all and stays sane, but she is amazing. Not only excellent in all the technical aspects (I am a contractor and particularly notice and appreciate good workmanship) but excellent with the soft skills as well. She got into dentistry specifically because she had had such bad experiences as a young girl, and wanted to offer people dentistry with less trauma, and she is fervently committed to making her patients feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. She is thoroughly professional but not doctrinaire in her approach, understanding that how the patient feels about an issue is important. Even her hygienists are exceptional, as she sets such high standards for them. I don't want to sound too over the top, but having suffered some trauma of my own at the hands of some dentists, I cannot believe how fortunate I am to have finally ended up with someone of such excellence.
