I had been looking forward to checking this place out all week! The weather on Friday night was absolutely perfect for viewing the sunset with a cocktail and my loverboy.
We got parking easily, and we got in right away. The place was busy, but not packed. We got very lucky and found a table right by the outside view of Lake Erie. (These seem to be the tables that people are vying for because once we got up to leave, people came after us like vultures to retrieve it.)
We split the Fish Bowl Punch and an order of flatbread.
The Fish Bowl Punch is served in either gl $10 or btl $15. However, upon ordering, the waitress tried to up the ante by telling us that a bottle is really just 1 1/2 glasses. *blank stare*... ... ... This makes ABSOLUTELY no sense and she needs to stop telling tables that. Though, it may encourage an upsell - it's a PERFECT portion to split. And I don't know about you... but when comparing "glass" and "bottle" terminology with the likeness of wine... a glass is a five ounce pour and I certainly don't need a bottle of wine for myself. Ya herd?
So, long story short - split the bottle - you're gonna get two martini glass pours of this delicious punch concoction. And for $15 bucks, that's a great price!
What's more - the flatbread was fantastic - and the presentation was fun.
Great late night snack food and cocktails in a trendy location with one of the best views you're going to find in the city. Check it out for yourself!
