  • This is the best place In Toronto that I have found to buy computer components. Frys and Microcenter in the USA are better, but that is usually the case when you compare a Canadian retail format to an American one. I have to give Canada Computers 5 stars because they are the best Toronto has to offer in their category, even though they are a 3.5 star compared to Fry's or Microcenter. Their prices are competitive with the USA. and the 13% sales tax is the only item that puts them at a disadvantage. You can always save some money shopping online, but if you need something same day and you don't want to get totally ripped off, then this is the place to go. The staff are also knowledgeable about what they are talking about, compared to Future Shop/Best Buy (BB and FS are the same company). Hours here are sort of limited. They seem to close around 8, so keep that in mind. The return policy is not as nice as a big box, 14 days and a 5% stocking fee if opened and not defective. So, basically if you know what you need and you don't need someone to hold your hand in regards to technology, then this is the place for you.
