Stumbled upon this place when making a trip to Target- it is in the same strip mall on 7th street/greenway. The interior of the store is sterile and bright white. It desperately needs some warmth and decoration. Even some colored paint on the wall would make a difference. The interior alone really put me off. The pastry case is huge and stretches across the length of the store, however, the approximately 10 cupcake stands (which themselves don't fill up the case) have only about 3 cupcakes on each cake stand. Once again, bare, lacking, and strange. I also saw the bakery selling a 6 pack of day old cupcakes for $15. Really?? Wow, must be made of gold. So onto the goods- I paid $5.00 for a fresh croissando, this bakery's version of a cronut. I ordered the French vanilla cream filled variety. Would this pastry be the redemption to the awful interior...? The pastry itself was small, especially for the cost. At first bite, I got a rush of sugary sweet buttery flavor as I would expect. Then, something so oily seemed to be seeping out of the pastry- I almost couldn't eat it. I will not return here. Too bad
