| - Very interesting concept... and ironically enough, there were very few asians here... you don't come here for the food. You come here for the waitresses cute outfits (some were generic maids, apparently), the unique decor, and the anime ambiance. Of course if you feel bored you could just watch the anime on the large TV's.
I ordered the tonkasu ramen ($8.50), and the broth was pretty light (aka not much pork fat, not much oil, not too authentic). How ever the char siu was very tender and delicious! Fatty & melt in your mouth amazing.
Also tried the hambugu steak with mushrooms, it was quite small, and they only gave a few mushrooms. It was alright.
The furikake fries sounded interesting, but in actuality they tasted like normal fries with a "hint" of seasoning.
Also had almond milk tea which wasn't too great. It was too powdery at first; I could literally taste a powder chunk, so we asked them to re-make it. Service is great, and it can get a bit stuffy in the restaurant as it isn't that large of a space.
