I agree with others that have had their consigned items sell at a lower price than agreed upon on the first day an item is available. They will try and tell you that there was a mark down, but that is just a lie.
The intake people and sales people really have condescending attitudes. I have purchased items and later decided I don't want it and the interesting thing is that they won't even take on consignment things I have purchased at one of THEIR own stores!!! Also, they are complete snobs and not friendly. This attitude is unfounded--afterall, it is basically a store of used clothing similar to a thrift store, so come on Get Real.
They seem to take pleasure in rejecting the items you bring in, even though the items are in better condition and a better brand than the damaged, stained and ugly stuff I see out on the sales floor. Once, when I asked why she had passed on a specific item, the salesperson replied, we only take higher end items, not things from Wal-Mart. That is seriously rude. I had purchased the item from Nordstrom and personally have never bought any clothes from Wal-Mart.
I believe that the employees that work here are dishonest and have experienced discrepancies with my account. Good luck getting someone to call you back from the corporate office. They won't because they are probably putting out fires (trying to avoid being sued and handling more significant customer complaints). They do not know the meaning of customer service here.
