We have been meaning to come here to try out this brewery for a little while now. We were in the North Side for dinner so we decided to come here. It was a Saturday night around 630pm. There is street parking or you can park in the public parking lot next to the brewery. Even on Saturdays you still have to pay public parking in the lot until 10pm.
We walked in and it wasn't too busy. The bar area wasn't too big but we did get two seats at the bar. We were greeted by what seemed to be the owner. He was bartending with another guy. He said we could sample anything that we wanted which was great. We sampled a few drinks and decided on the Morning Dew. Before he poured it for us he had us try the Woo because he said it's their most popular. We ended up going with the Woo! It was really good and I'm glad that he let us try it out. They have some good beer here. The Woo is an Ipa with some good color to it. It was smooth and very tasty. So five stars for the beer and service.
The actually brewery is nice too. We did not think they had a television but they did so we got to watch the Pens game here. It started getting really busy later in the evening. It's dog friendly and there were some dogs here barking but it wasn't too bad. They were having problems with their heat there so it was kind of cold. They had a guy come in trying to fix the heat problem and the lights went out a few times. The owner was real cool though. He jumped on top of the bar to let us know that the lights would be going out. Some people might be bothered by it but we weren't nobody else was there either. There was a birthday party going on in the back room too just having a good time. We really liked this brewery and when we are in the North Side or going to a Pirates game we will be stopping by again.
