This is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. Other people have talked about how charming, cozy and historic Clementine's is, and that's all very true. I just want to focus on how really well prepared and delicious the food is, and how warm and welcoming the women who own and run it are. We've been going there for years, and when my mother would visit Ohio, this was her must do restaurant. The food is consistently good with several vegetarian options - my wife's favorite dish is the vegetable bake (one of their specials) and it's one of the best things we've ever eaten. Really. Incredible taste and texture. I love the beef bourguignon (seasonal special?). Their 'Lucifer' - a chocolate cake so good that when my mother (an admitted chocoholic) visited here, 3 of us shared a piece there, took a piece home... and then she made us stop by a couple days later to bring a piece home. Their home-made lemonade is enough of a reason to go there. In the summer, sitting outside with lemonade and the triple treat salad - can't beat it. If someone asked me for the best way for visitors to have a quintessential small town Ohio experience (both for the people and the setting) this place would be it.
