| - Bought a Smith Overtake helmet last week, was checked out by "Employee: Mike" according to my receipt. Great product, very happy w/ sale price.
To Mike- when I asked you about manufacture warranties if I destroy the helmet in a crash, you very confidently told me "No, there's nothing like that." When I queried to ask if you were sure about this, if Smith might give you a price break if replacement was necessary, you doubled down, smirked and said, "No, there's no company that does that."
Sorry to out you as a pompous know-it-all at that moment, but following a little research on:
http://www.smithoptics.com/us/customerwarranty
'Bike or Winter Helmet crash replacement policy: Within a period of 2 years after the original date of purchase, SMITH will replaced crash damaged helmets at a discount of 30% off the MSRP.'
My advice to management is to keep Employee Mike in the back where he can safely change flat tires, and away from the front shop where he might further confuse customers with his "knowledge".
