| - Just north of yorkville, seven grams is a welcoming cafe on the corner of avenue and webster. Lots of natural light, exposed brick, lots of space, and a beautiful charcoal gray and burnt umber colour palette. Quiet, chill music blends with the (mostly) softspoken convos of the upscale but unpretentious mid-30 to mid-s0 aged clientele. The food options look lovely and there is a vegan cookie option. I didn't ask, but I feel that the lentil soup and steel cut oats (with soy) could also be vegan. I had an soy americano misto, which was quite lovely. If I was in the area again, I'd definitely visit, but not if I wanted to stay and hang out for an extended period of time. Although the decor is very nice and cozy, the seating is super uncomfortable! Hard plastic chairs and an even harder wooden bench that runs along the wall. There seems to be one comfy spot - a couch by the fireplace - other than that, get ready for your butt to kill halfway through your coffee.
