The Blue Marlin is a nice resturant if you are looking for bistro style. I've lived in Madison for over 40 years now and I've heard the good and the bad. The food was beautiful and that added to the entire experience of the place, it is a very very tiny place, so you have to whisper if you don't want the table next to you hearing every word you say. but the food was presented wonderfully and tasted equally as good.
Only complaint would be the $9.00 Ceasar salad I got tasted like it came out of a bag. The croutons didn't seem like they were made in house and overall it just didn't taste fresh.
Overall I am glad we went there, the salmon with beet puree was wonderful!!
