| - Okay, so.... here is my experience:
I wasn't 15 minutes early and that was my goal, so there's that. I get there with 5 minutes to class starting and the woman at the front was with someone, no problem. I waited for 4 minutes and a lady comes to the side of the front desk and asks if I've been helped, to which I reply, "not yet." Turns out she was the instructor and helped to get me all set up. The front desk person finally came over to help us and get us our heart rate monitors. The monitors were $3, which wasn't communicated in the 6 emails I got regarding my registration, class reservation, and receipt. It's $3, not a big deal, just wish I had known (it is mentioned on their website, but something like that can make or break a newcomers experience, and should be mentioned more than once as fine print)... Tamany was phenomenal, and we had a great class. My only (minor) issue with the class, was that it was hard to understand her at times, since the sound echoed throughout the room. Other than that, it was a great cardio HIIT workout.
From a class experience perspective, 5 stars. From a service experience perspective, 2 stars, so my overall 3 stars sums up my experience.
Side note, no one tried to engage me to get me to sign up for additional classes, a membership, or even a "Goodbye. Thank you so much for joining us today!" I definitely just felt like a number to them. I waited a couple of minutes to talk to someone at the end of class just to find out that the workout summary gets emailed to me afterward. Again, from a newcomers perspective, maybe an announcement from the instructor would've helped in this scenario? I'll finish my 3-pack, but I don't think I will sign up... But thank you for a killer workout!
