  • I've tried so hard to like this place more than I do. I've visited Maverick several times since my first review. I feel like I've given this place more of a shot than many other coffee shops that I've disliked on the first visit. While their coffee craft has improved and their menu has grown, I still can't call this place a favorite. It might just be personal preference, but I am put off by the lack of electrical outlets (and the large number of extension cords), and I often find the music and chatter just a little too loud to get work done. It's still a good place to meet up to chat with a friend, but it's just not a go-to for me.
