| - Overall, very positive experience. My Bosch dishwasher stopped working and needed repair. I called on a Thursday afternoon, and the customer representative took my information and told me that a technician would call me back. The technician, Manny (Handy Manny, really!!! How awesome is that??), did in fact call me back in less than 5 minutes, and after asking a couple of questions (kind of dishwasher, symptoms, etc), gave me a preliminary diagnosis, and asked if he could call back again after checking for parts availability. As promised, he called back promptly, said that he could get the part that afternoon, and scheduled an appointment for 9-11 am the next morning. Manny called me promptly at 9:00 am, said he was 20 minutes away, and sure enough he arrived at 9:20. Manny was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable, and efficient, everything you would want in a technician. He had the dishwasher repaired in about an hour, and promised a 1 year warranty on the part. My only issue: the cost of the part (taken directly from the "parts price list", which he showed me), was excessive, in my opinion. A quick internet search revealed: the price from Bosch directly $194.40, the price from other suppliers as low as $154. The price from the price book: $450. I understand marking up the price for parts a bit for profit, but I believe this is excessive. The labor charge to install / repair / check, on the other hand, was fair. And Manny gave me an Angie's List discount. Summary: excellent customer service, technician Manny was awesome, parts price somewhat excessive. Overall, I would recommend.
