  • my husband and i took the christian childbirth class with shanna groppenbacher and it's the best thing we could have done. shanna is very very knowledgeable, experienced and we wish everybody would hear what she teaches about birth! sure enough, we hired her as our doula and we are so thankful we did. she informed us about all the options and she was a rockstar during labor. both, my husband and i, felt much more confident with her by our side. thanks to her, we were well-prepared for labor and she guided both of us through, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. at the hospital she made sure my voice was heard and that the staff respected my birth plan. she was very very encouraging and supportive during labor and i don't know how i would have gotten through the contractions without her! my husband keeps saying that shanna took a huge weight off of his shoulders by helping me so much. she's always available for ANY kind of question, even months before and after giving birth! we will definitely hire her again if we have a second baby! she is amazing and we highly recommend her!
