| - This was my second stay at Hotel Arts. The location is ideal and very close to the Stampede Grounds where we were attending a conference. Service is great and checking in was easy. The room was $ 139 for a regular room with 2 double beds and Valet Parking $ 20.
We also got charged $10.45 for Internet access. I didn't feel like arguing, but in all seriousness, WiFi Internet should be free for guests at any hotel (just saying), since nowadays you can go just about anywhere and find free WiFi.
The highlight of this hotel is for sure its restaurants. Although a bit pricey, the food is amazing and the service excellent. Both Raw Bar (late night tapas dinner on our stay) and Yellow Door Bistro (appetizers and breakfast on our stay) were fantastic.
The hotel looks great with a definite sophisticated and modern feel, but as soon as you look a little closer, you can tell it's an old hotel that has been "redecorated".
A few hints that renovations were done on the surface: loose electrical plug-ins, toilet that sounds like it's dying anytime you flush, stained shower ceiling, etc. If you can overlook these minor details, this is a great place to stay.
We used the gym and it was clean, well equipped with cardio machines and weights, towels and a bathroom right inside the facility (very convenient).
