  • Once in a while I'll get a craving for a messy sandwich. For this fix one of the few places I go to is California Sandwiches. Whether it's a hot veal, steak, or chicken cutlet sandwich this place has the right stuff. At this particular location they're always busy so it's good to time when to go here and when to wait it out. The place itself is well layed out. Plenty of seating for big groups if you decide to dine there. It runs very efficiently, you place your order and pay for it (unfortunately they only accept cash or debit...credit card is a no no). Right away your sandwich is in the ready stages. Not too long after that the lady calls out your number and you're all set to enjoy your meal. I always go for their veal sandwich with mushrooms and onions. If you're really feeling the munchies for double the price they give you double the meat, but the regular serving is more than enough. They have a vegetarian option which is an eggplant in place of a meat. Oh and a side of large olives is a must!
