My wife and I ate at Dominion Square Tavern in July; we were in Montreal for a long weekend and decided to eat here based on Yelp reviews.
We enjoyed our dining experince; were able to eat outside as they have a small patio set up in front of the place (summer only I believe). I had a gin & tonic made with their house made tonic. Not like a gin & tonic you get in the states. Hard to describe but it was ok, nothing great.
For starters, we had corn fritters and the scotch egg. Corn fritters were hot and tasty. The scotch egg was amazing; never had one before. I recommend it, even if you don't know what it is, give it a try. For mains, I had the chicken on salad and my wife had the braised beef. Mine was good; chicken moist and flavorfull. The braised beef was really good. I would choose the braised beef over the chicken.
Overall, very good; probably the best place we ate at out of the 4 dinners out.
