I was excited that I was able to to talk my hubby into ANYWHERE I could get a bite of sushi so we decided to try out this new Hibachi spot in our area.
Our friend met us there and hubby and I got there it was about 5pm and upon opening the door, there was no one there. No one. Customers or hostess.
Ummmmmm......so I walked to the left a little and realized that the hibachi area was around the corner in a different room.
We walked ourselves around the room then found hibachi area.
I posted several pics.
Honestly it reminded me of the "ol'school" Benihana.......I just was not impressed. You have zero servers and if you get water or a drink you are lucky. The grill master Ven was suppose to be the best but just acted like he did not care that night.
I got the Sushi Fiji and hubby got the Prime hibachi. Mine was just a pile of unfrozen bay scallop looking fried madness and hubby kept telling Ven "NO I'M ALLERGIC TO SHELLFISH" when he kept trying to throw shrimp in his mouth.
Our friend order a roll and saki......he was also not impressed.
It is next to a new Lee's Liquor's that has craft beers.....that's another ball of GOOD YELP wax :)
