Came here for dinner on a hot summer night.
The decor and ambience of the restuarant reminds me of a coffee shop, a relaxing vibe, with instrumental music playing in the background.
Space: Unfortunately the day we went, the air conditioning might have been broken. It was hot and the table we got seated was a bit cramped (there were little space between our table and the table behind). We got seated in the area next to the wooden division by the door, if available, I would recommend to ask for the tables at the elevated platform, they seems more spacious.
Food: they provide congee and kimchi as appetizer which I enjoyed. There are variety of hot and cold noodles. We ordered the cold chogye guksu with chicken ($11.5) and janchi guksu with pork ($11.5). I enjoyed the chogue guksu, it is a nice dish for the summer. The sweet and sour broth is appetizing. The noodles have a good texture. However the amount of shredded chicken seems to be inconsistent (mine has little), in looking at pictures from other yelpers, some seems to have more than others. Janchi guksu has a nice grilled flavour in the broth which was good.
Overall, I would recommend if you are looking to try Korean style noodles.
