  • I used to really like this place but now, its just ok. When I first went to sweet cakes they were awesome, great food, outdoor seating - what else could you ask for. After a while they stopped taking credit cards (completely asinine in today's world) so I stopped going for a while. I eventually returned when I heard that they got their act back together and were taking plastic again. I went back and it wasn't quite as good as it once was. They now have gotten rid of the great little ice cream shop and replaced it with a boring clothing store and changed their menu. They used to have a great jalepeno bread that they no longer carry. I am not sure if it was multiple changes in ownership or what but the original Sweet Cakes would have gotten a 5 star review for sure.
