  • I've lived in the yonge and eglinton area for pretty much my entire life, yet I've never really hung out in the hood since there's not a lot for me there. David's Tea has changed that! I love this place, I love their tea, I love their staff! Everyone who works there is super nice and really interesting - I've met a naturopatic student, an engineer, a girl who specializes in prosthetic limbs. They have soya milk and agave and make a mean tea or latte. Great selection of teas, delicious combinations such as Forever Nuts (spiced nut tea), Glitter and Gold (a sweet black tea with glitter) and Chickory Dickory Dock (a chickory, vanilla, almond blend). They're open till a decent time (9pm M-W, 10pm Thurs-Sun) and always have great music. There are only two tables, so it's sadly not always somewhere you can sit and have tea with a friend - this, and the lack of outdoor seating in the summer, is the only reason they got 4 instead of 5 stars. That being said, though, I've only not been able to get a seat about 3 times out of the many that I've gone. I've sat and studied for hours - love it!!
