Nice loooonnnnggggg day in Toronto saw us here at one point. But it was one of the easier parts of the day, so there's that.
Right on Youngs near the Eaton Center is this camera place. They have a serious collection of cameras. And with the current price of the Canafian dollar to the US one I imagine they are selling some of those cameras. But that's not why we were here.
We needed a passport picture. Even though we had followed their directions to a t, they ones we had were not "good enough" and we were sent here.
The woman (one of 4 employees visible) saw us coming a mile away. She knew we had been sent by one of the area consulates for a passport photo. She even guessed it was for a Dutch one. She's done this before.
She knows the specs for the Dutch passport and took a pic quickly and easily. We then paid (15 CAD + tax) and were sent away for 20 min. Just enough time for a coffee. And the pics were ready when we went back.
And the consulate liked them too. So we finally were able to apply for a new passport.
