OMG did I just have the worst experience at Allure Nails on N. Community House! Incompetent and definately not relaxing. First and last time I'll go there!!!
Here's the deal:
I has an appointment....was not a walk-in. Firstly, I told the manicurist to cut my cuticles. She left them ragged & unfinished. Then she brought gel polish over without giving me the choice of color. After that she missed the edge of a nail completely w.polish and was ignoring it! I had to ask her to fix it. She's just kept noding her head, saying okay and did not provide a relaxing experience. Their name notes and spa....SPA NOT! When I mentioned it to the Manager he spoke with her but did not offer to fix it!
There's also the pedicurist who left me sitting w.my feet wrapped in a hot towel for half an hour while she did someone else's. I actually had to ask her to finish! Every nail salon I've ever been to always painted toes first so they'd dry while getting the manicure.
When I was paying the Manager did not apologize. I even told him it was bad business for him to not correct the cuticles! He said they have a hundred happy customers. I told him I wrote reviews and he should be concerned he may not get 101.
