| - Purchased my dress here for my upcoming wedding.
I chose to come here as my best friend also got her dress here and while shopping for her I was so impressed with the selection.
The store is gorgeous- beautiful ambiance, etc.
Frankly I found the experience not great. If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy feeling with a consultant who will hold your hand and treat you like the only bride in the store I suggest you go elsewhere.
When we first walked in, there were so many people in the store that they essentially had a bouncer at the door asking you when your appointment was. We were a little early as I was coming from far away and the traffic was lighter than expected- and when we arrived we weren't allowed in.
We also had to all take off our shoes despite it being a completely dry day- (I'm imagining a Carrie Bradshaw nightmare where my shoes disappear, no thanks).
This place has more ridiculous rules than an elementary school. No photos (I know this is common, however I was irritated as already having been to two other bridal boutiques that same day and had been allowed to take as many photos as I wanted)- frankly, I want to see how something photographs before I spend $2000. Not so much to ask.
When I finally decided to purchase my dress, I had to take it off, pay the deposit, and then put it back on before I could take a single picture. Really- me saying I was going to purchase it wasn't enough for you?
Lastly, they won't let you bring a single accessory that wasn't purchased from them to any of your fittings. I understand it is a competitive market and blah blah, but for starters, the accessories I wanted (specific veil and a real fur shawl) they do not carry (it isn't my fault you don't have what I'm looking for), and after spending $2000 on a dress I find it ridiculous that I can't even bring a $150 accessory with me into your store.
Bottom line- amazing selection is what saves this place. That and the beautiful ambiance (if you care more about ambiance than they way you are treated).
Ps- prior to going here I went to Beckers Bridal and if they had my dress I would have purchased it there over Amanda Lina's in a heartbeat! The consultant was amazing- I was the only bride in the entire store, she let us go rogue sorting through dresses and grabbing whatever I wanted to try, and even suggested I look on etsy for a cheaper version of a belt they sold for $500. Amen!
