  • We purchased our Ford 150 pickup from Earnhardt and have had issues with black smoke coming from the tailpipe several times. we took it in for service and one of the service guys took a ride with my husband and saw the black smoke. After having our vehicle for 2 days we were called to come and pick it up and they could not do anything about the problem because service engine light was not on and they had no code! Our private mechanic that we have used for previous vehicles said that for a brand new vehicle we should not being seeing black smoke and it is serious if we do!!! We also purchased running boards for the pickup and having issues with it coming apart. We were told they had to find another running board and they would get back to us. It has been 2 months and we have called and left messages and can't seem to get a return call back on the status!!! We will never purchase another vehicle from Earnhardt again! They are to big of a business and they don't seem to care about customers when you leave the parking lot!!
