What a wonderful find! Although I do live in North Las Vegas and this is such a drive...
Located in the Village Square plaza near Bachi Burger and Red Ribbon, this cozy cafe always provides such a warmth (through coffee and by the owners). The cafe itself is small and quaint, which is great for studying, catching up with friends, or even acts as a small oasis for those who need an excuse to get out. They have seating both indoor and outside, which would be wonderful in seasons that where you suffer from heat stroke. They roast their own coffee (as well as their own chicken) in the back kitchen. Sell that roast in-store, and are able to keep their prices reasonable.
The coffee menu has many options, many of the basics - Cafe Au Lait, Iced Coffee, and Lattes. What really got me was the various syrups that Avery's carries. Personal faves is a Iced Dark Chocolate/Cherry Latte (whipped cream at your discretion) or the Iced Coffee with Almond/Cherry. Either way that Cherry syrup is my favorite thing on earth. They have a wonderful butter croissant but I haven't tried much else on their food menu.
The staff is always so cheerful and always willing to chat with you. They even provide suggestions if you're not sure of what you want.
Definitely a recommendation if you're in the area!
