So... I was responsible to bring a cake to work to celebrate a special event, I went to Albertsons the day before to see if they could put an image on the cake from a photo... I was told yes -not a problem. The girl who took my order told me to send my picture to her email- which I did~ I confirmed that the email went through on my end - however - if there was an issue, they had my phone number if there was a problem.
I got a call alright ... 1 hour before I was going to have it picked up I received a call from the Bakery telling me they do not have the image and they were not going to have my cake ready for pick up.. Really?? I needed the cake in an hour and wanted a special sentiment on the cake to recognize an employee at work. I would have been more than happy to take an image the day prior if I would have been notified the image wasn't received. A regular cake (not from Albertsons) sufficed as literally a last minute fix, but this was extremely frustrating and a big disappointment. They had a whatever kind of attitude which worsened the situation- would of been nice if they were even slightly apologetic.
