  • I don't think you could get any less pretentious than this joint. There's no apologies here. Come for the food, not for the ambience... or service for that matter. I've never had a gripe about their food, it is always delicious. The other aspects however, are definitely begging for improvement. One time we brought the in laws here. We were served by an older woman who seemed to be very displeased... By us? We were the picture of politeness. She was cold-faced, grumbly, incredibly unwelcoming. I was so embarrassed. Other times the service has just been Luke-warm. But like I said, the food is awesome, and I've noticed a lot of take out orders happening here-- but beware, twice I've called to order take out DURING business and they DID NOT answer the phone!! :/
