  • We just moved out after two years as residents. The only reason we moved is job relocation to Texas. We cannot speak highly enough of this property. The staff: From the first visit to our last call to them from Texas, everyone there has been professional and welcoming. They're a huge complex. They get busy. Occasionally, you'll get voicemail when you call or have to wait in person. They always returned our calls within 24 hours. In fact, that's the primary reason we chose them. Many properties failed to return calls when we were shopping two years ago. They really are the reason we chose Aspire. The property: The grounds are well groomed and brightly lit at night. They do a good job of keeping it clean. The dumpsters are a problem, but that's not entirely their fault some residents are inconsiderate. They do what they can to remind folks to dispose of trash properly. Even trying different style dumpsters. It's a nice community with relaxing pools, a nice gym and ample parking for guests and extra vehicles. At least by our unit in the back of the complex. The gas grills scattered around the property are convenient. The great room is incredible with a theater and a pretty decent breakfast on weekdays. Lots of fun activities throughout the month. If I have a complaint, it's parking for the mail boxes. There is none. You have to park in a Future Resident spot, Handicapped, or stop in the road to go get your mail. But I don't feel it's management's fault the developer or builder dropped that ball. I just hated that you technically have to park illegally to check the mail if your unit isn't walking distance. We never felt unsafe there. Even walking at night. The gates are somewhat problematic though. Especially the back gate. It was broken often. But I suspect due to residents and guests being impatient. It's was always fixed quickly. The apartment: Large and spacious. Lots of storage, counters and cabinets. Big walk-in closet. Upgraded fixtures and lighting. Excellent insulation and good soundproofing. We often heard our upstairs neighbors moving around. But, we never heard anything else from adjoining units. The back of the complex is behind a WalMart shopping center. You'll hear trucks a lot. The area: Up and coming area. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Much of it is walking distance. Having a P. F. Chang's that close is dangerous for diets. Easy access to I-10, 202 and 51. Less than 30 minutes to the airport barring traffic. Finally. Our move out experience. They were very transparent in the process. We knew what to expect and what we needed to do for a refund of our deposit. I was very impressed with the process. They did notify us 4 days prior to our moving day the office would be closed that day in observation of a holiday, meaning we had to move out a day earlier. We ran out of time to complete our move out tasks as a result. Make sure you shampoo the carpets yourself when you move out. Their cost is a bit steep. In their defense, they did offer a solution which we thought was considerate. We thought we could get it all done in time. All in all, an excellent experience. If we hadn't moved out of state, we'd have gladly signed another lease and would live there again should we ever get back.
