| - Very, very loud, large screen tvs (during final hockey game of olympics), less than subtle gas station theme, large, casual, good for kids. Atmosphere included - I kid you not - a large bald man lounging full length on a leather sofa in front of a television with an empty nacho plate in front of him - just like home! We sat in a comfortable booth.
The wings with signature hot sauce were very good without the breaded feeling that cheap wings have. The sauce was delicious - medium hot with butter and garlic notes. I'd like hotter and order "tearjerker" sauce on the side next time for dipping. Lots of creamy blue cheese and a few veggies. At $1 per wing these should be good.
I had turkey burger "rebel yell jalapeno" style, switched to cheddar instead of swiss. I thought I went with a healthier choice but probably not - greasy, very buttered roll, super thick almost compressed burger with odd sausage-like flavor, a few pickled and fresh jalapenos didn't qualify as "rebel yell" to me as I could have used hot sauce. Side dish of broccolini could have been skipped - over buttered, under salted, and server didn't bring utensils (my mouth was full when she checked on us and I gave up by the time she came again). Overall I'm sorry I ordered and ate most of it.
Others ordered the beef burger (extremely thick, oddly spiced), fries (described at fresh cut I expected them to look and taste more like real potatoes you know like the zoo - hmmm, maybe overcooked a bit, not very salty), brisket sandwich (meat good, bbq sauce very not nuanced).
Service was good, other than forgetting the utensils, everything was as it should be including requesting cheese switch and mustard on side.
Overall, I wouldn't return for the food. Maybe a wing or two with a beer.
