  • Ive been to Bishops 3 times now. First was in the first few months after they opened. She did a great job, it was nice and easy to walk in and describe what i wanted. I went back a second time hoping for similar results, this time it was a little off...my stylist was...off putting to say the least. I had such an odd experience with him that I left not only with a wonderful haircut but full of confusion. This was totally backwards. I broke it down to the fact that this man simply didn't belong there, it's just not the way people behave downtown. We treat humans with kindness and people are pretty easy going here. So I moved on, decided to just not go back based on the bad taste that was left in my mouth. A few months later I happened to run into the owner, he was generous enough to give me a few coupon cards to check out the salon. Not wanting to take his act of kindness and toss it in the trash I explained my odd second experience. He passed this info along and the manager of the salon reached out to me. She was so personable and encouraged me to come back in so that things could be made right. I went back shortly after and I was so so so pleased! I've been looking for a stylist/salon for YEARS and im thrilled to have finally met someone I want to go back to. Claudine cut my hair and I'm in love, its exactly how I want and I look foreword to her good vibes and wonderful personality as well as her great skills. Also the grumpy, sassy man is gone so feel free to go back and get the best haircut in downtown phoenix. Thank you so much!
