  • Melanger gets a 5 star review in my books, mainly due to the fact that my hairdresser Lesley is wicked cool, super fun and great at her job. Because really, I have pretty awesome hair, no? But really, Melanger is in a weird spot, in the commerce court at King/York street, its not easy to find, but when you do, its a tiny oasis in the financial district. They use Aveda products, which smelly lovely, and also provide a scalp massage when washing your hair. Makes me feel like a king. As mentioned, Lesley is my go-to girl but there are other stylists on staff. All seem pretty good at what they do (haven't yet witnessed anyone high-tail out of there with a bad haircut). They also offer manicures/pedicures, massage therapy and other spa treatments. Oh and some sort of make-up thing for the ladies. Prices are good too. Check them out.
