I stopped in around 11 pm on a Saturday for a bite to eat. I didn't realize that you had to be buzzed in. That's a bit creepy. Once inside I found the place dead with a cluster of waitresses and bartenders huddled off to the side joking around.
I took a seat at the bar. After a few minutes the bartender tore herself away from her personal conversation to wait on me. Even after that, the service was slow. The bartender seems miserable to there. She was equally as morose with the few other bar patrons. After going over the menu I asked her opinion on some choices I had narrowed down. Her menu knowledge left much to be desired. I settled on the oysters. They are terribly small and poorly shucked.
The reason I have this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because it has potential but like many other Yelpers have stated, the service needs improved.
