We had dinner at the Mansion on Sept. 15th 2012. We were visiting from out of town and this was our first visit. Needless to say it is also our last. When we arrived my husband placed his Sony A65 SLT camera at his feet under the table. We didn't want to leave it in the car as it needed to be valeted. Upon exiting the car at our hotel he realized he'd left the camera. We immediately returned to the Mansion only to find the dining room dark and no camera. The table we'd eaten at had been broken down (we were a group of six and two tables had been joined) so someone on the staff had to have tripped over the camera when doing so. It was on the floor under the table. The response we got from the management is that they talked with the staff and no one saw the camera. Not true - the person who broke down the table had to have seen the camera. Management said maybe another guest took it. We don't buy that. They have a thief on staff. They claim up and down that they have no responsibility. Very, very poor. That camera was stolen. On our way back to the Mansion we never expected that the camera would not be there - this is a "fancy" place. Highly recommend you watch your things very carefully if you go there.
Also the food is way overpriced for what it is.
