We were in desperate need of a better sofa. The last one I bought was more of an impulse buy and I have regretted it for about 10 years. Now we are moving and my one stipulation was that the sofa is not allowed to come with us. YAY! So, I started looking at Yelp at furniture stores. I was appalled at the terrible experiences people were having in the larger big box stores. The last thing i need during a move it to deal with broken furniture. I stumbled upon this store, At Home Furnishings, and I figured I would pop in and check them out. Right away, I didn't have a sales person hovering over my shoulder. I hate when they do that. It is such a turn off. Instead, I was greeted with a "Hello! Just let us know if you have questions." and I had time to browse. I asked them about their brands and what made them different from Lazy Boy (we were looking at the power furniture). The gentleman knew so much about the industry and the emphasis they place on American made really won me over. I went back two days later with my husband. We were greeted by Lou and, again, Lou let us browse. There was no hovering at all and Lou was a really nice guy. When we did need him, it was easy to have him come over and answer questions. Again, I really appreciate that the furniture we are buying is American made. We ordered a set and it has been a wonderful experience. I will update the review once the furniture arrives, but I am so excited to check this off our long list of things to do. I left feeling like I got a great deal and with confidence in the product.
