| - Joined a couple coworkers here after work so didn't get a chance to check Yelp beforehand. My general impression was that quality control is iffy and I think the variance in reviews on here (esp. from fellow Elites) may confirm that.
We had the chicken satay, curry puffs, pad kee mao with shrimp, spicy basil chicken, green curry salmon, and taramind crispy duck. The meats were high quality (esp. the salmon and shrimp) and the meat itself was prepared well. The reason I say "meat itself" is that the crispy duck was breaded with a tough, distinct layer - basically sweet and sour pork style (literally like how Panda Express did it... at least back when they still had pork), which was just awful. It was a lot better after scraping the breading off, but then it wasn't crispy duck anymore.
The vegetables were also totally overcooked in everything except the spicy basil - literally, completely mushy. And everything here was on the super sweet side, to the point that many of our dishes were coming across our taste buds very similarly.
Also, their spiciness scale is from 1-4 and we got 3 on everything and it was what I would call mild. Would definitely go straight for 4 if I go back.
The service did not help. Our waiter was friendly but also very casual and inattentive. For example, he got our drink orders wrong and splashed us with water refills, and we would repeatedly have to follow-up on requests that he'd forgotten, etc. etc.
To be honest, this place probably deserves a +1* just because there aren't many Thai restaurants in Henderson - but based on my visit here, the reality is I doubt I'd go again.
