  • Terry and the McDonald Group did an awesome job for us with our relocation from Milwaukee to the Charlotte area. Terry was assigned to us because he was very knowledgable about both the Lake Norman area and Uptown (downtown) and everything in between. He was more than willing to take us anywhere from all the way up in Denver to south of the city and gave us some great detail about each area. Another great thing about Terry was the fact that in his prior career he was a builder. This gave him the ability to be able to quickly identify issues with a house as well as give us advice on anything we could to do add value to the property. Our house hunting days with Terry were always really fun days and he is happy to move at whatever pace you want. He always picked out great lunch locations that were local favorites in each area as well as giving us some nice tours of the downtown area and each neighborhood. Since we were new to Charlotte, Terry's tours and insights were really valuable to figuring out where we wanted to live. In the end Terry gave us some great advice on the home we purchased and was able to negotiate us to a fair price for our house. All in all the experience couldn't have been better from start to finish. We also had the opportunity to work with Terry's son a little bit too and he was just as friendly as Terry. You can tell that these guys really enjoy what they do and are students of the real estate business. I would highly recommend the McDonald Group and Terry for any home needs in the Charlotte area. If you want an honest, friendly, knowledgable real estate agent then Terry is your man.
