  • We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership in August, the temporary tag due to expire on 9.26.14. At the beginning of October, we were told that there had been some confusion with the title as well as credit history being done on the same name as ours, but in a different state. (Really, we provide driver's license for the correct name and address.) In November, my husband drove back to Performance to get the paperwork, and was told that the tag should be forthcoming. (Temporary tag is still on the vehicle.) Today (12.9.14), I am told that the DMV has put a stop on the tag as the property tax has not been paid, despite a bill NEVER being generated. The reason was because this was a used vehicle and Performance Ford just now has learned of this. I am in complete agreement with most of the posters for this dealership----RUN AWAY. Words like incompetent, slow, and frustrating come to mind. I can assure you that I will tell anyone interested in buying a car, used or otherwise, NOT to go to Performance Ford.
