| - Oh Reilly!!
First let me tell you that a 2 star rating is NOT a negative rating. Its neutral. Lets face it, you guys deserve a negative 1.
So, we stayed in a Reilly property after our house burned down. This was in May. Its been a non stop nightmare since.
Lets start with the house. It was a cute house, a lot of natural light and very old fashion (like CLE HTS should be) it did come fully furnished, which was a plus because we lost most of our things in the house fire.
The furnishings were items you can purchase at a goodwill store. Which is fine, I repurpose items from goodwill all of the time. However, there are some things that shouldn't be purchased used. Like used beds. Each room had a double bed in it. My husband and I decided to move one bed to the master room so we could have a bigger space to sleep. We ultimately had to purchase a few memory foam pillow toppers because after 2 or 3 nights of the springs stabbing us in the back and an emergency room trip to push my hips back into place. The beds weren't suitable to sleep on. But, we made due.
The bathroom was awkward, again no surprise given the age of the house. It was clean and fully stocked with towels and even toilet paper. Now, the Reillys charged my insurance company $300 to put up a fence. Mind you, this was chicken wire. Not suitable for our then 4 dogs. The entire backyard was gravel. Making it hard for my elderly dogs to run and enjoy being out of the hotel room we were originally in.
Travis, who is one of the employees through Reilly was awesome! Very easy to work with and quite the talented painter.
I wish I could say the same about everyone else. A few of the employees would sneak into our backyard and stare through the dining room window. Others kicked my small corgi because she was barking. One day after I had wrote my first 3 star review on yelp. The owner of the company called me freaking out and threatened me. So, I hung up the phone and a few minutes later, he came pounding on the front door screaming. So, my husband came home and we went to the police department and filed a report. After that, we didn't feel safe in the house. So, our insurance company paid them around 6k and we left and moved into a hotel. Yes, our insurance company paid the remainder of our lease and we moved. Since then its been a legitimate nightmare. They decided to keep 1k of our security deposit for "cleaning" and over usage of the utilities. We were only there 3 weeks. So, on top of the 6k, my insurance company paid them, them also leasing out the house to another person during this time AND an additional 1k they stole from my security deposit. We finally got a check back for a little over 1300$ I contacted the BBB and provided them and Reilly video proof of the house CLEAN! Then they provided me 3 pictures of some onions that were left in the fridge and spots in the sink and said that was 1k worth of cleaning work for them.
Beware of these people. They'll cheat you on any level, especially when you're at your lowest. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Do your research! Be smart! Not only am I tired of these people. But, so is the city of Cleveland heights. Its super sad when multiple members of city council tell you that when you bring up the Reillys name.
Now, theyre going to respond to this and say. I trashed the place and that their attorney is on stand by. Yada yada yada. Don't care! I hate bullies and won't be bullied for writing my experiences with ANY company. I won't be intimidated and I won't just sit back and let these people hurt other people.
Good day!
