I have been extremely unhappy with their customer service. My internet went down for 2 months, and I had been in communication with them almost from the beginning. When they finally sent out a tech in that second month, he confirmed that there was no way I could have had internet and that I wasn't lying about it. All I got back was a measly HALF of ONE month, so I had to pay for a month and a half of service I couldn't use.
Then, on top of that they charged me $75.00 for that service call, that was never disclosed to me. When the guy I spoke to offered a service call he made it sound like it was something that was included with my service. I would not have accepted a service call if they had told me I'd be paying $75.00 for it - apparently using their service doesn't get you help when you need it.
I also had a late fee on my account for not paying my bill...when my internet was down. When I contacted them about the then unknown $75.00 fee I also asked if that late fee could be waived considering the circumstances. I asked that questions 2 or 3 times and it was never even acknowledged.
I will be looking for another internet company ASAP.

I signed up for Cox internet on September 2016, I just realized that my monthly charge has been going up almost every month, if not every month. I signed up for their services because of a price I was quoted in September, not what it is now. The customer service is just as bad as CenturyLink, it's just a different kind of bad!
