  • Watch out for these snakes. I will no longer use ADVANTAGE Car. Rental or EZ car rental (Advantage owns EX rental as well . I will research to find out what other car rental agencies Advantage owns I will not use any of their affiliates. First of all, they try to trick you into purchasing additional insurance. Second of all the guy told me we will top your car off with gas... We have gas less expensive than in Phoenix. Which was true, however, I wasn't paying attention just assuming that they were going to top it off. I only used a quarter tank of gas. As a result, I agreed to letting Advantage /EZRental fill my tank upon returning the vacant. When I drove off I realized what I agreed to! I got TAKEN due to my lack of paying attention. But I have to give the guy credit he skillfully worded it. As I was thinking about this, it came to mind that last time I rented fromAdvantage car rental the fellow that I rented the car at the counter from casually and quickly instructed me to initial for their additional car insurance , rather than asking me if I was interested in adding additional insurance coverage for the car.I declined it and he still tried to push it on me. Wording his sales pitch in a different manner. In a nutshell these people are trained to deceive you. Beware , because I'm telling you this is common practice for them . This allows them to make more money (Commission) meaning the counter people ...they make a commission off everything they sell . So they'll try to trick you . That being said, I will no longer use their services.
