  • Unfortunately for us, Nanette no longer services zip code 60607, where we just moved. She explained that it has just been too hard to go west of the expressway in winter, so she has stopped coming out this way. We're sad to lose such a great sitter. She was fantastic with the cats and we'll all miss her. I have a hard time trusting people, especially when they're coming into my home when I'm not there, but I never felt anything other than comfortable with her being in my home while I was away. I still haven't met her, but my boyfriend could tell when they met (I was out of town when I hired her for the first time) that she was someone we could trust to come into our home, which is a huge plus for me. I would recommend her highly to anyone in the area looking for a caring pet sitter. Her rates are fantastic as well, which is a nice bonus. She's generally available on short notice, but she does take a vacation during October each year, which she tells you about in advance so you can make other arrangements if necessary. She's also very good at returning emails within a day or two of you sending them. She'd most likely be able to accommodate you on pretty short notice if you call.
