| - This 5 rating is for the hotel. I am basing this rating on the VALUE I got for the price I paid. I am comparing this to the Venetian, which we stayed at for 3 nights before we checked into this hotel. Obviously, the two are very different. But, the value I got at the Best Western exceeded that which I got at the Venetian.
Here is the bottom line - The casino is small and dingy. You would never know that behind it is a decent hotel that is right in the middle of all the strip action.
The rooms are small and very clean. The beds are comfortable - very comfortable. There is a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a safe in the rooms. There is a decent TV with a decent amount of channels. The housekeeping staff is efficient.
The fitness center, though small, is well-equipped. They have an elliptical machine, a treadmill, and two bikes. There is also a weight machine. They have free towels and bottled water.
The pool area is clean. Not a good view, but good enough for the price.
Above all, the location is awesome. This little hotel lies between the Venetian and Harrah's. We were able to walk and take the tram everywhere we needed to go.
I recommend this place to anyone that wants a clean, inexpensive room on the strip. If you want glamour and glitz in a hotel, you should probably go elsewhere. If you want good value so you can use the rest of your money for entertainment, this hotel is a great choice.
